BEFORE YOUR FIRST LINE
A few things to know.
What can I use for free?
You can own three active songs and invite one co-writer to each. Write lyrics and drafts, organise sections and use the writing tools currently available in early access. Shared songs do not count towards your three songs. No card is required.
Do I need a finished lyric or an audio file?
No. Start with a title, a line or a rough idea. Audio is optional. Keep unfinished thoughts in Draft while you shape the lyric.
Are my songs private, and who owns them?
You keep the rights to your own writing. Songs are private until you choose to share. You control each invitation and can manage access from My Songs.
How do I save and return to a song?
Edits save automatically while connected. Check the save indicator before leaving. Open My Songs when you return. If a connection fails, follow the editor’s recovery message before closing the page.
Will I be charged later?
Creating a free account does not start a subscription. Writer, Complete and optional add-ons are planned. A paid purchase will require a separate checkout showing the price and terms before you agree.
What if I need help?
